How my journey began…

Hello, I’m Mary! Academically, I received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master's degree of Science in Teaching from Fordham University and hold a certificate of advanced graduate studies in Applied Behavior Analysis. I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a focus on the connection between our thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

Over 20 year career, I have worn many hats. Early in my career I was a special education teacher in New York City public schools supporting neurodiverse students. It was here that my passion for bridging behavior and wellness grew. Then I worked across classrooms with students and staff, and in homes with families, providing personalized coaching that focused on routines, behaviors, coping skills and emotional regulation while using a holistic approach.

My journey was fueled by my passion to make a real difference in people’s lives. While working in schools and homes, I noticed a need for developing positive tools, strategies, habits and routines for responding to difficulties and learning how to manage emotions and cope with them appropriately. This led me to opening my own practice so that I can support kids, teens, young adults and families in developing healthy tools, strategies, habits and routines to manage stress, anxiety, routines and functions of neurodiversity. I am also passionate about teaching these skills to staff in various organizations through talks and workshops.

Recently, I have partnered with Bespokery, LLC to create Be.Havioral. We are supporting businesses in building stronger more engaged teams by prioritizing the people that make it all work. We focus on creating positive behavior change within teams and organizations in unique and meaningful ways to support organizational harmony.
